Congratulations! You’ve made it through the second week of the 31 Days to Reset Your Life Challenge. In case you missed it, I’ve posted a handy Guide to Getting the Most Out of Your #31DayReset to ensure you are maximizing this experience. For most participants, it has been a productive and enlightening week. For others, it may have been a bit more difficult to keep up with the daily assignments. That’s why today is dedicated to giving you time to catch up and reflect on the past week’s exercises as well as to connect with others in the challenge.
Estimated Time to Complete: 30 minutes
Today’s exercise is an opportunity for you to rest from all your inner work this week as well as reflect on your learning and share in your fellow participants’ progress over the past few days. Being able to compare and contrast your experiences and offer encouragement to others can be extremely useful as you move forward in your personal development journey! If you missed any of the assignments this week, this is also your chance to catch up.
Reflect
- What was the most important thing you learned about yourself this week?
- What has been your favorite exercise so far? What did you like about it?
- Which exercise did you struggle with the most and why?

So far my favorite exercise has been writing the life narrative. Actually writing out our dreams and goals is very profound and sort of alleviating at the same time. I mean I think about all of the things I want on a regular basis but actually dumping it on paper so that I can go back to it without worrying about it all the time relieved a lot of stress for me. I never noticed it as being a burden before this exercise.
I enjoyed today’s rest and reflect day. It has given me time to…rest and reflect…and to delve into other areas of personal development that is not part of this challenge but will help me in it.
Day 16 Reset: http://hittheresetbutton2012.wordpress.com/2012/04/16/day-16-reset/.
I love our rest and reflect days. This week proved to be a little difficult, but it awakened something in me. I struggled with writing the life narrative this week. To be honest I still have to put it down on paper, but I finally have it in my mind.
I also noticed that I do not manage my time effectively at all. I don’t watch very much TV at all, but unplugging helped me to push myself to do more that day.
I was on twitter though, but not as much as normal. I did a lot more reading on parenting and developing my mentoring program. So this was actually an exceptional week.

This week I learned that I waste alot of time abnd I dont use my time wisely
Or in an effective manner.
My favorite exercise was the unplug exercise, it was a challenge because
I love my dvr but I saw the benefit in not tweeting , facebooking and watching tv
I struggled with the audit and redesign because my job requires me to travel everyday
some 4 times a day and I am on and off buses and trains. I have no consistency in my daily work life
I also attend school two nights a week, it’s difficult.
