A Guide to Getting the Most Out of Your #31DayReset

I’m glad that you’ve decided to join a group of like-minded, motivated, supportive women who are “resetting” their lives.  The #31DayReset is designed to help you in your own personal development, but the community component is also very important to me. You see, for a long time, I thought I was alone in wanting to transform my life. That is, until I began to discover amazing bloggers and inspiring sisters on Twitter and Facebook who were on the same path as I was.

I would like to foster that same sense of online support here on the blog – from our comments to our Twitter interactions to our Facebook community.

Below are some guidelines for how we might do that. I hope they are helpful and I hope they allow us to better support each other during the challenge.

Show Your Face in the Comments

During this challenge, you will be leaving a lot of comments on this blog and connecting with others on this same journey. One way to build our community is to put a face with your name, so please consider adding an avatar picture to your comments by signing up for a Gravatar here. You can also post comments using your Twitter account and I think it will pull in your avatar from there. We want to see your pretty face!

If you want to be notified of when I post the daily exercises, make sure you subscribe to the HBW blog so you can be sent each of the assignments as they are published.

Leave Comments for Others

Again, I know this is a personal development experience primarily for your own growth, but please take a moment each day if you can to help another sister out on her journey, even if it’s just a reply to some of the comments here on the blog. Better yet, visit the blogs of your fellow participants as they post links to them and leave an enouraging word or insight. You never know how something you might say at that very moment could alter someone’s perspective for the better. And who knows? You may even end up connecting with a new friend or two that lives in your area.

That’s it for now. Above all else, I just ask that you be real, be respectful and be supportive. Thank you again for being here!
