Here’s a video I made while I was visiting my grandmother in Ohio for Thanksgiving. I decided to keep it in unedited format because she was the one who recorded it for me! I cherish the time Grama took to support me, despite her unsteady hands LOL. You can even hear her voice at the beginning
In the video, I share why I don’t put any energy into making New Year’s resolutions anymore…and propose an alternative method instead. Check out the video below (if you can’t see the video, click here) and leave a comment to tell me what you think about my concept of how you can finally start a new year off on the right foot!
If you got something out of the video, please tweet it or share it on Facebook. And leave a comment to let me know what you thought!

I totally agree with this. I wrote a posting the beginning of 2010 about being anti-resolution and making attainable goals for myself that will help me. I think having that mindset is what made 2010 a better year for me.
Good idea Rosetta. I have this thing that i call New Year’s lifestyle changes instead of New Year’s resolutions. I blogged about this yesterday. Because you’re right, resolutions are a pitfall for failure from the start, as they are not something that we actually want to do, they are something that we know we should do. I like implementing lifestyle changes, new ones every year. At least when i start to work on them, they can become life long changes, and learning experiences.
