I saw this video on my girl Naomi’s Facebook page and fell in love with his poem, not to mention the passion with which he expresses it. The young brother-poet is named Joshua Bennett and the poem is called 10 Things I Want To Say To A Black Woman. Please share widely, especially with our young sisters who may need to hear it the most.

Rosetta! I am loving your Blog! This video just made my day! I am a 29 year old single black women and what you write directly relates to what I am going through in life. With all the black woman hating going around, we need more young men to stand up and say what they love about black women. Also, I wanted to let you know that I am doing little “experiments” in my life as well, which include signing up for some dating websites (I will comment in that section about my experiences so far), cooking healthy exotic foods, and planning a trip to Jamaica! lol.
