  3. :) a couple weeks ago during holiday season i had a discussion about china cabinets with a friend. her grandmother has a china cabinet filled with nice dishes that their family rarely uses. i just dont get that. what are you saving, or waiting for? Today is an occassion! Enjoy the beautiful things that you’ve acquired in your life! i say this because they usually use paper plates. they even used them on christmas this year. lol. i just don’t get it! …. anyway.. lovely quote. that’s the approach i am taking for my life.

    • Wait – so they didn’t even use the “special occasion” dishes for the special occasion of a holiday? Reminds me of how my Grama’s friends used to keep the plastic their furniture in a room that nobody was even allowed to sit in. Bizarre.
