Weekend Inspiration: Europe, Here I Come

It’s been a busy week. THE busiest, in fact, since I began consulting for myself full-time last month. It can be exhausting being the CEO of ME. As a result, I slept in until almost noon today, which I never do. And the only reason I got up before noon was because my sister called me to talk about planning our trip to Europe this summer, right after her college graduation.

I try to take a trip somewhere every year as one of my personal commitments. Last year it was Hawaii, the year before that it was um, Hawaii again. The year before that I went to Jamaica. Now, it’s time to expand my horizons. So we’re going to Europe! Right now, we’re enthralled with this Paris + Rome trip package that I saw on the Budget Travel website. Just thinking about it is giving me LIFE. Now maybe I can actually be productive today.

  1. Exciting! I hope you blog all about it so that I can live vicariously through you. I adore Paris and have always wanted to visit Rome.

  3. Hey Rosetta where did you stay in Hawaii. I am planning a trip there for the big 30. So far we have been told Maui. Any suggestions?

    • I’ve always stayed on Oahu in Honolulu. Waikiki has really good prices for hotels near the beach and the buses for the tours and luaus pick you up right at your hotel. I’ve never been to Maui, though I hear it’s ever more beautiful than Oahu. Oahu is more “touristy”, but I love it because I lived there for 6 years! Maui is also a more expensive trip, but from what I hear it’s well worth it. Have fun!

      • We’re heading to Maui in mid March. Been there before and want to explore it more. We’ve also been to Kauaii and recommend Blue Hawaii Helicopter tours. It’s a beautiful state and you can’t go wrong whatever your decision.
