Sundays are a great time to set yourself up for success for the coming week.
Here are 3 things I’ve been doing to get more organized in my life and business:
1. MEAL-PLANNING & FOOD PREP
Plan out your meals for the next 7 days and order groceries for the week. I always eat healthier when I write down what I plan to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. I also cook at home more often vs. eating out when I already have the ingredients I need in the fridge. I use Instacart here in San Diego, which delivers from my local Whole Foods within 2 hours. It’s a HUGE timesaver, which makes the small fee so worth it!
2. PICK OUT YOUR OUTFITS FOR THE WEEK
It’s so funny how we had to do this when we were kids, but it works now that we’re adults, too! I bought a basic clothing rack off of Amazon that fits in the bedroom and I just hang up my outfits for the week on there. When you don’t have to spend time in your closet wondering what you should wear every single day, it cuts way down on the time it takes for you to get ready in the morning, whether you’re going in to work or just walking down the hall to your home office.
Write down your top goals that you want to accomplish for the week on an index card. I love to do this right before I go to bed, so my priorities are fresh in my mind when I wake up. This prevents the feeling of being “all over the place” once I sit down at my computer on Monday morning and allows me to hit the ground running!
