We’re up to some BIG things this year at Happy Black Woman HQ and it’s time to expand our team! We are hiring and want to hear from you if you qualify for the position below.
This is a part-time, virtual position for up to 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Hours are flexible Monday-Friday, between 9:00am-5:00pm Eastern Time, with some evening and weekend hours.
The primary responsibility of the Community Manager is to be the official “hype woman” and support person for the Happy Black Woman community! You will work directly with Rosetta Thurman, the Founder and CEO of Happy Black Woman LLC and our rockstar team to impact 1 million black women around the world online. Your job will be to interact with, engage and support our clients, customers and community members.
You could be our new Community Manager if your friends would describe you as the “life of the party” – a friendly, outgoing, compassionate people-person with a knack for getting everybody excited and hyped up! You’re a great writer, you LOVE being constantly connected and you genuinely enjoy interacting with people on social media.
We are looking for someone with passion, experience and proven skills to provide social media management, community engagement, content creation and customer service in service to our tribe. If you love social media and supporting women to reach their highest potential, we want to hear from you!
