Last night I was in my office, journaling in my cozy purple chair, when I got the inspiration to share more about my personal manifestation process with my tribe. I’m learning to trust my intuition more and ACT on inspiration as it comes, instead of overthinking it.
So! Here are some of my best tips on how to dive into what I call “manifestation journaling.”
Journaling is how I affirm myself and manifest my goals.
I do NOT journal about anything negative EVER.
I ONLY journal in the affirmative present tense “I AM” as if what I want is already happening NOW.
Time of day: Either early morning when I wake up or right before I go to bed.
Fave notebook and pen: Moleskines & Pilot G2s ALWAYS. Maybe it’s the writer in me, but using certain tools makes a big difference!
Journaling prompt I use the most: “I AM so happy and grateful that I now…”
Fill in the blank with whatever you want to manifest in your life! “I now attract my perfect clients, I now have an amazing relationship with a supportive man, I now live in a 3-bedroom condo near the beach, etc.”
Years ago, I used to go to my journal to vent or complain or just be super emo about stuff that was going on in my life, business and relationships.
But it never made me feel any better. It actually made me feel worse!
I realized that by writing it down (thinking I was just “venting”) I was reinforcing all those negative feelings, which only made them stronger.
Now after I journal, I feel so LIT UP about my life and what’s possible for me.
I call it “Manifestation Journaling” and it has definitely helped to transform my life.
That’s why I’m so excited to be teaching an in-depth workshop on this process at my upcoming Happy Black Woman Summer Camp!
