As part of our renaissance-inspired agenda, I took them to dinner and the opera for an elegant evening of art, food, and music.
We started at a trattoria in the piazza for a three-course Tuscan dinner – prosciutto and melon, pasta with fresh tomatoes, and strawberry mousse cake.
The conversation flowed, we toasted with glasses of Chianti, and every bite felt like “la dolce vita.”
Then came the main event: a short walk to the concert hall for a performance with three charismatic singers serenading us with famous Opera arias and Neapolitan melodies.
