Travel Diary: What I Remembered In Italy

In June 2025, I took my third trip to Italy and explored Rome, Pompeii, Pisa and Florence.

I started my trip in Rome. It was my third time seeing the Coliseum and it’s still awe-inspiring!

We took a tour to Pompeii to see the ruins. There was so much history there, made fun by our guide!

Then, it was on to the Amalfi Coast! I spent a beautiful afternoon in Positano enjoying the seaside views, eating lemon sorbet and doing a little shopping.

My final stop was Florence, my favorite city in Italy! I revisited the Duomo, saw the David sculpture by Michaelangelo, hung out at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, took a pasta-making class and had the best gelato of my life!

I ended my trip with hosting my summer mastermind retreat in Florence because it was one of the cities I visited on my very first month-long trip abroad back in 2012.

Back when the world didn’t feel quite so heavy and uncertain.

I went to Italy because I needed to be in the expansive energy that comes along with a new environment.

I needed to feel the wonder of sitting in the vision that I prayed for.

I needed to remind myself that everything is possible for me when I put my faith into action.

It was such a beautiful trip.

And the cherry on top is that I got to share the experience with my husband, my parents and my clients.

I almost forgot that this is the whole point.

But in Italy…

I remembered.

Keep Up with Mia
